Art café closes after one year
31 July 2013 the Art Academy café with its Gagarin Square exhibition was closed after being open for one year. Many hundreds of visitors each week have sipped tea or coffee and looked at the images of the Gagarin Square on the walls and viewed the Gagarin Square video. We are pleased to have strong support from visitors, particularly those who live in the Peabody buildings on the opposite side of Southwark Street. They and office workers admired the proposed frontage and liked the idea of a quiet terrace where again they will have real tea and coffee in the future Tea Museum.
